Biography:
Alexander "Alex" Summers, better known as Havok, is a Marvel Comics character associated with the X-Men. He is the younger brother of Scott Summers, also known as Cyclops.
Havok possesses the mutant ability to absorb ambient energy and convert it into blasts of plasma. He is unable to control this power completely, often emitting energy uncontrollably unless focused. The energy emanates from his body in visible waves, a signature visual effect of the character. Havok first appeared in *Uncanny X-Men #54* (March 1969).
Often found working alongside his brother, Havok has been a member of the X-Men and other mutant teams, struggling to control his abilities and make a name for himself outside of Cyclops' shadow.
